The 4th Annual Sips & Sounds Fundraiser will take place on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at the Farm Bureau Expo Center, 945 E. Baddour Parkway in Lebanon. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and the show begins at 7:00 p.m.

“Sips & Sounds is more than just a night out — it’s a chance to make a real impact,” said Gaye Lynn Wilson, Executive Director of Wilson Rides Inc. “You’ll enjoy amazing music, great food, and hear directly from those whose lives have been changed through Wilson Rides. Every ticket helps keep our mission moving forward.”

More Than Transportation — It’s About Connection and Community

Wilson Rides provides safe, affordable transportation for older adults 55 and older throughout Wilson County, but its mission extends far beyond a ride. The organization works hand-in-hand with local partners to ensure older adults remain active, independent, and connected by:

  • Collaborating with community partners to assist with home repairs and maintenance — including ramps, stairs, tree trimming, smoke detectors, and yard care.
  • Working with law enforcement and SCAN (Senior Citizens Awareness Network) to protect older adults from scams and fraud.
  • Partnering with senior centers, assisted living and memory care facilities, and Vanderbilt Wilson County Hospital to redistribute vital medical equipment such as walkers, rollators, canes, shower chairs, and commodes.
  • Working with local service organizations, businesses, and volunteers to deliver monthly food boxes and holiday gifts to hundreds of local older adults, helping reduce isolation and spread joy year-round.

“Wilson Rides is built on relationships,” Wilson added. “We make sure our older adults have a strong support network and the resources they need to continue living the lives they were meant to live. Transportation should never be the obstacle that keeps them from doing that.”

Funds raised during Sips & Sounds will go directly toward supporting operations and expanding programs, sustaining volunteer initiatives, and ensuring older adults across Wilson County stay safe, healthy, and happy.
