Giving Tuesday - GIVE65 - November 30, 2021

Wilson Rides is participating in #GivingTuesday, a global day dedicated to giving back. #GivingTuesday is held annually on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving and kicks off the holiday giving season. Wilson Rides is partnering with Give65, a program of Home Instead Charities, and are hoping to receive matching grants to support Wilson Rides and its ridership. Since Wilson Rides started giving rides 6 months ago, 41 Senior Riders have signed up as well as 21 Volunteer Drivers. In the month of October alone, we completed 64 trips, drove 834 miles and volunteer drivers gave 40:45 hours of their time. Year to date, Wilson Rides has completed 283 trips, driven 4,000 miles and volunteer drivers have given 211 hours of their time. We have just scratched the surface of the amount of rides that are needed in Wilson County, TN.

KROGER COMMUNITY REWARDS PROGRAM

Wilson Rides Inc would like to ask for your support through Kroger Community Rewards! Please sign up to take advantage of KROGER COMMUNITY REWARDS PROGRAM where money can be accumulated and applied to our organization. Wilson Rides Inc provides rides to seniors in Wilson County who no longer drive. Wilson Rides is not just a nice thing to have, it is a necessity for our seniors! Remember, this program WILL NOT take away from your personal savings and rewards that you accumulate at Kroger. The easiest way to find our organization is by using the VJ062 when searching for Wilson Rides Inc.

TO USE THE KROGER COMMUNITY REWARDS PROGRAM:

Simply register online at https://www.kroger.com/i/community/community-rewards

Be sure to have your Kroger Plus Shopper’s Card handy and register your card with our organization after you sign up or sign in.

If you do not yet have a Kroger Plus Shopper’s Card, please know that they are available at the customer service desk at any Kroger or you can contact Kroger support at https://www.kroger.com/hc/help.

You will also need to create a digital account in order to participate in the community rewards program.

Click on Sign In/Register at https://www.kroger.com/i/community/community-rewards

Most participants are new online customers, so you must click on CREATE ACCOUNT or SIGN IN if you already have a digital account. Follow the directions on this page.

Enter NPO number (VJO62) or name of organization (Senior Ride Wilson), select organization from list and click on confirm when linking your shopper’s card to Wilson Rides Inc.

If you do not have an email address, please call our office at 615.622.5557 or email us at info@wilsonridesinc.org and we will assist you in the registration process.

To verify you are enrolled correctly, you will see our organization’s name in the middle of the page when signed into your account and are on the Community Rewards homepage.

REMEMBER, purchases will not count for our group until after you have registered your card(s).

Members must swipe their registered Kroger Plus card or use the phone number that is related to their registered Kroger Plus Shopper’s Card when shopping for each purchase to count.
