Wilson County, TN – July 19, 2024 – Wilson Rides Inc., a local 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in Wilson County, TN, is excited to announce its participation in their 4th Annual Give65 Event, a 65-hour online giving event exclusively benefiting Wilson Rides Inc. This special event will be held from July 23 to July 26 and is proudly co-hosted by Wilson Rides Inc. and Home Instead Senior Care, Wilson County.
During the event, Wilson Rides will be raising funds to support sustainability and general operating expenses, enabling the organization to continue providing safe, affordable rides to senior citizens in Wilson County, TN. Donations can be made at charity.pledgeit.org/Give65.
Wilson Rides has secured $15,000 in matching funds from generous donors and local businesses to support their fundraising efforts. Money raised will be matched dollar for dollar up to $15,000, so every donation, no matter the size, will help double the impact!
“Give65 provides us with an opportunity to highlight the needs of older adults in our own community and raise the critical dollars needed to run our transportation program,” says Executive Director Gaye Lynn Wilson.
The 65-hour Give65 Event begins at 8 a.m. CDT on Tuesday, July 23, and concludes at 12:59 a.m. CDT on July 26. Please make sure to adjust for your own time zone.
